Our Mission: Inspiring Wellness, Unity & Togetherness 'On' Long Island
At One Long Island, our platform is designed to inspire a sense of unity among Long Island's residents and visitors. By providing accurate information and recognition of Long Island's identity and significance, we can help bridge the gap between the western and eastern counties and promote a sense of togetherness.
Celebrating Uniformity, Diversity & Uniqueness
Long Island is an incredibly diverse and unique region, and this artistic rendering serves as a new and powerful representation of its true identity. The depiction highlights a dichotomy within the region, comprising its four counties.
However, the administrative influence of New York City on the two western counties has created a divide among the island's residents. The prevailing mindset perpetuates the legacy of NYC's dominance, which considers Manhattan Island and the outer boroughs as the only counties of significance.
Moving Beyond Administrative Designations
It is essential to acknowledge that the true essence of Long Island includes four counties Kings County (aka Brooklyn), Queens, Nassau, and Suffolk Counties. Although these counties are generally recognized as part of Long Island, their administrative designation is split. Queens and Kings County are historically considered part of New York City.
By taking a comprehensive view of the island, it becomes apparent that nearly 8 million Human Beings that live on geographic Long Island reside in its geographic portion. As an island, Long Island should hold a position of great significance comparable to that of Puerto Rico or Washington, D.C.
Recognizing the Distinct Identity & Significance
The fact that New York City claims part of Long Island creates confusion and disrupts statistical data. For example, during the COVID-19 pandemic, NYC was often portrayed as the epicenter, which is geographically incorrect when taking into account the geographic reality of Long Island.
Acknowledging and respecting the island's distinct identity and significance is crucial, ensuring accurate representation and understanding of its demographics and contributions.
Due to the administrative differences, Queens and Brooklyn were counted in the Covid-19 statics for New York City, making it the epicenter of cases. This fails to capture the impact on the eight million humans living on geographic Long Island.
Be True to Your School
When some loud braggart tries to put me down
And says his school is great
I tell him right away
Now what's the matter buddy
Ain't you heard of my school
It's number one in the state (Hey, hey! Take it away! Get that ball and fight!)
So be true to your school now Just like you would to your girl or guy Be true to your school now
And let your colors fly
Be true to your school
I got a letterman's sweater With a letter in front
I got for football and track I'm proud to wear it now When I cruise around The other parts of the town I got a decal in back
So be true to your school now
Just like you would to your girl or guy
Be true to your school now
And let your colors fly
Be true to your school (Do it again, do again, we like it, we like it)
Come Friday we'll be jacked up on the football game And I'll be ready to fight
We're gonna smash 'em now
My girl will be working on her pom-poms now And she'll be yelling tonight
So be true to your school now
Just like you would to your girl or guy
Be true to your school now
And let your colors fly
Be true to your school (Push them back, push them back)
Rah rah rah be true to your school Rah rah rah be true to your school Rah rah rah be true to your school Rah rah rah be true to your school

Massapequa Massacre
‘On’ Long Island, New York, America
NYS Governor Willem Kieft, the Era’s Globalist, hired mercenaries for 25,000 *guilders under the command of the psychotic, religious, zealot John Underhill to kill Indians. Underhill’s men massacred more than 100 Indians near present-day Massapequa. Kieft declared a day of thanksgiving on receipt of the after action report. Local witnesses said that Underhill’s men piled the dead bodies in a large mound and claimed that the surrounding ground was stained red for almost 50 years afterward. Tyrannical ‘Governor‘ Willem Kieft suffered his comeuppance by drowning death in a shipwreck, his administration records lost to history, however, the surviving Native American tribes remember HIS EVIL, certainly the white human ‘legal’ settlers of ‘Massapequa’, their land purchased from the Mashpeags and their progeny remembers the lesson-learned, defend yourself against the Bullies or succumb to THEIR EVIL.
*Mammon Reward: The guilder was derived from the Florin, a coin from Florence, Italy. Originally made of gold, later changed to silver, the guilder was the Dutch coin of the realm in America. First minted in Joachimsthal, Czechia the 'daalder', guilder, thaler name evolved to the ‘Dollar’.
